About this role

Tierce India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring ambitious AI/ML Development Interns to work on cutting\-edge Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning Engineering projects. This is not a research\-only role — you will build, deploy, and optimise production AI systems for real clients.

The 2026 AI intern builds autonomous agents, designs RAG pipelines over private data, fine\-tunes open\-source LLMs, and deploys scalable inference endpoints — not just classifiers on Jupyter Notebooks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Build multi\-agent AI systems using LangChain, CrewAI, or Microsoft AutoGen for automated workflows.
* Design and implement RAG (Retrieval\-Augmented Generation) pipelines using vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate).
* Fine\-tune open\-source LLMs (Llama 3, Mistral) using LoRA/QLoRA for domain\-specific use cases.
* Write production\-grade, asynchronous Python code for AI services and APIs.
* Build and deploy model inference endpoints using FastAPI, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
* Optimise model inference performance using vLLM, NVIDIA TensorRT, or ONNX.
* Implement experiment tracking and model observability using Weights \& Biases (W\&B) or LangSmith.
* Process and engineer features from large datasets using SQL, Apache Spark, or Snowpark.
* Set up MLOps pipelines: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions for automated model testing and deployment.
* Evaluate and mitigate AI hallucinations, bias, and ethical risks in production systems.
* Collaborate with fullstack developers to integrate AI capabilities into client\-facing applications.

**REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS**

* **Python (Production\-Grade):** Asynchronous programming, type hints, clean architecture, and package management.
* **Agentic Frameworks:** LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen for building multi\-agent AI systems.
* **RAG Pipelines:** Vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate), embedding models, and retrieval strategies.
* **PyTorch:** The industry\-standard framework for model development, training, and research.
* **LLM Fine\-Tuning:** LoRA, QLoRA, and PEFT techniques on open\-source models (Llama, Mistral).
* **FastAPI:** Building scalable model\-serving APIs with proper authentication and rate limiting.
* **Docker \& Kubernetes:** Containerisation and orchestration for ML model deployment.
* **SQL \& Data Engineering:** Advanced queries, Apache Spark / Snowpark for large\-scale data processing.

**PREFERRED SKILLS (THE 2026 EDGE)**

* **Inference Optimisation:** vLLM, NVIDIA TensorRT, or ONNX for production\-speed model serving.
* **C\+\+ or Rust:** Performance\-critical model optimisation and custom inference engines.
* **MLOps / CI/CD for ML:** GitHub Actions pipelines for automated model testing and deployment.
* **Weights \& Biases / LangSmith:** Experiment tracking, model observability, and hallucination monitoring.
* **Classical ML:** Knowing when XGBoost or Random Forest outperforms a neural network on tabular data.

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**

* Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc. in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
* Strong academic foundation in Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability \& Statistics, and Transformer Architectures.
