Job Overview
We are seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our team in Coimbatore. This full-time role is suitable for a fresher with 0 to 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the precision and quality of our structural steel detailing projects. With a focus on using industry-standard tools and techniques, the candidate will be integral in maintaining our high-quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
BE / Diploma (Civil / Mech)
Passed out: 2022, 2023, 2024
Software known : Tekla / SDS2 and MS Excel
Blueprint Reading skill is crucial for comprehending and interpreting engineering drawings accurately.
Quality Control abilities to ensure all drawings meet industry standards and client specifications.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Mandatory skill) for documenting project details and analyzing data efficiently.
Excellent communication skills (Mandatory skill) to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
Proficient in using Tekla Structures for detailed modeling and drafting of steel structures (Mandatory skill).
Demonstrated expertise in steel detailing to ensure accurate and comprehensive design outputs (Mandatory skill).
Strong grasp of structural engineering principles for effective problem solving in detailing projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in verifying the accuracy and completeness of engineering drawings and specifications.
Review and check detailed drawings for adherence to design standards and specifications.
Support in creating and maintaining project documentation and records.
Assist in quality control measures to ensure final output meets company standards.
Participate in project meetings to present findings and provide feedback on design improvements.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in drafting and checking practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements in engineering software.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop detailed drawings for steel structures using Tekla Structures.
Ensure all detailing work meets project specifications and adheres to applicable international standards.
Prepare precise construction drawings and plans that align with client expectations and project requirements.
Review and verify design documents for accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed.
