SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications
M.Tech / B.Tech in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related discipline
Functional Skills
Python / R / similar analytics tools; machine learning techniques; data analytics and statistical
modelling
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
Relevant and total years of Experience
Overall experience: MBA fresher 0–2 years of experience in AI, data analytics, or digital solutions development
Experience or exposure to power markets, renewable energy forecasting, grid operations, or energy analytics
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accountabilities
Major Activities
Support to organization’s digital transformation
Identify opportunities for the application of AI, data analytics, and digital technologies across business functions to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Develop analytical models and digital tools to support asset management, forecasting & scheduling, and operational optimization.
Support digital initiatives related to asset monitoring, digital twin frameworks, predictive maintenance, and performance optimization.
Develop analytical tools to support power market participation, bidding optimization, forecasting accuracy, and DSM management.
Analyse operational and market data to generate insights that improve generation performance, trading outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Develop dashboards, analytical reports, and decision-support systems to enable monitoring of operational and commercial performance.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using AI and data analytics technologies.
Support implementation of the Digitalization Strategy and
Roadmap by translating analytical models into practical business tools.
