Position Description:
As a Product Design Intern with Disney Consumer Products (DCP) India, you will work alongside a dynamic team that brings Disney’s beloved characters and stories to life through innovative consumer products. This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand how design, storytelling, and consumer insights come together to create magical products across categories like back to school, automobile, consumer electronics, home, toys for hardlines.
Responsibilities:
1. Gain exposure to the
licensing business model
by helping track global licensed product trends and understanding how storytelling integrates into retail products. 2. Conduct
consumer research
- trend analysis, pop culture shift, competitor benchmarking, consumer behaviour studies for FY 2026-27 to uncover insights that inform product and packaging design strategies.
3. Assist in
translating research insights into actionable design directions
, mood boards, and concept decks for potential product lines and licensed collaborations. 4. Generate product concepts using consumer insights across categories and brands that create immersive consumer experiences and moments.
