JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
UI/UX Designer Intern
to join our growing design team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our game designers, artists, and developers to craft intuitive, visually appealing, and immersive user experiences for our AAA game title.
Your work will directly shape how players engage with our game — from menus and HUDs to in-game interfaces and user flows.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and prototype user interfaces for menus, HUDs, game settings, inventory systems, and player interactions.
Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
Collaborate with Game Designers, Artists, and Developers to ensure smooth implementation of UI/UX designs.
Maintain visual consistency and ensure alignment with the game’s art direction and brand identity.
Incorporate user testing feedback to refine and improve designs.
Ensure that UI designs are optimized for performance in a real-time game environment.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in game UI/UX design.
Required Skills & Tools:
Design & Prototyping Tools:
Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Graphics Tools:
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
Game Engine:
Unreal Engine 5 (UMG – Unreal Motion Graphics UI Designer)
Motion & Interaction Design (Optional but a Plus):
After Effects for motion UI/animations
Spine / Lottie for animated UI assets
Understanding of UX principles and best practices, especially for gaming interfaces.
Basic knowledge of interaction design for console and PC games.
Strong visual design skills (typography, layout, color theory).
Passion for creating user-friendly, player-centric designs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Game Design, or a related field.
Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work (personal projects, student work, or freelance projects).
Passion for games, with an understanding of game interfaces and player experiences.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
