As we now set our sights on expanding into new and exciting verticals including HNI \& Luxury Residences and the Industrial sector, we are looking for a seasoned Business Development professional to spearhead our growth journey, working directly with and reporting to our Managing Director, Mr. Ashish.
**Role Summary**:
The Business Development Executive will be a key strategic hire, entrusted with driving the revenue growth and market expansion of both Adeelite entities. The role demands a high\-energy, well\- networked, and commercially sharp professional with deep experience in business development within the architecture, interior design, or Design \& Build space. The incumbent will identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across Adeelite's existing and target verticals, build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, represent the brand in the market with authority, and work in close collaboration with the MD and leadership team to align business development efforts with the organisation's strategic vision.
This is a senior, high\-visibility role with direct access to the MD and significant scope for personal impact on the company's growth trajectory.
**Scope of Work**
1\. Business Strategy \& Market Expansion
* Work closely with Mr. Ashish to develop and execute the business development strategy aligned with Adeelite's short\-term revenue targets and long\-term growth vision.
* Identify and map target markets, client segments, and geographies for business expansion — with specific focus on new verticals such as HNI \& Luxury Residences and the Industrial sector.
* Conduct structured market research, competitive intelligence, and sector analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and whitespaces in the market.
* Define and refine the value proposition for each service offering and project typology to position Adeelite competitively in target markets.
* Develop go\-to\-market plans for new verticals, including entry strategies, target client profiles, and pitch approaches.
* Track and analyse industry trends, competitor activity, regulatory changes, and market developments relevant to Adeelite's growth sectors.
2\. Lead Generation \& Pipeline Management
* Build and maintain a robust, well\-qualified pipeline of business opportunities across all Adeelite service lines — Design Consultancy, PMC, and Design \& Build.
* Generate new leads through networking, referrals, industry events, digital channels, cold outreach, and strategic alliances.
* Develop and leverage relationships with key ecosystem partners including real estate developers, architects, PMC firms, corporate real estate heads, facility managers, and industry associations.
* Maintain an accurate and up\-to\-date CRM / BD tracker capturing all leads, interactions, proposal status, and conversion data, and report progress regularly to Mr. Ashish.
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria and prioritise pursuit efforts based on strategic fit, budget, and timeline.
* Ensure a consistent and healthy pipeline that supports monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
3\. Client Acquisition — Existing Verticals
* Actively pursue new client acquisition across Adeelite's established verticals — commercial interiors, office spaces, R\&D centres, co\-working spaces, hospitality, and residential.
* Identify key decision\-makers within target organisations and develop relationships through structured engagement — meetings, site visits, presentations, and networking.
* Lead the complete sales cycle from initial client contact, needs assessment, and proposal preparation through to contract negotiation and deal closure.
* Coordinate with the design and delivery teams to develop compelling, client\-specific proposals, presentations, and pitch decks.
* Represent Adeelite at industry events, trade shows, networking forums, and client presentations with a polished and authoritative brand voice.
4\. New Vertical Development — HNI Residences \& Industrial Sector
* Lead the market entry strategy and client acquisition efforts for Adeelite's two priority new verticals — HNI \& Luxury Residences and the Industrial sector (factories, warehouses, industrial parks, manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical plants, etc.).
* Map and build relationships with HNI clients, luxury real estate developers, private family offices, and wealth management networks for the residential vertical.
* Develop connections with industrial real estate developers, EPC companies, industrial park operators, and manufacturing corporations for the industrial vertical.
* Understand the unique procurement patterns, decision\-making processes, and value drivers for each new vertical and adapt Adeelite's pitch and positioning accordingly.
* Gather market feedback on new verticals and share structured insights with Mr. Ashish to refine service offerings, pricing models, and delivery approach.
5\. Client Retention \& Account Growth
* Nurture and deepen relationships with Adeelite's existing and past client base to drive repeat business, referrals, and account expansion.
* Develop a structured client engagement and retention programme — including periodic check\- ins, project reviews, and relationship events — to keep Adeelite top\-of\-mind.
* Identify cross\-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client portfolio — for example, converting design\-only clients to Design \& Build, or expanding scope to new facilities.
* Ensure smooth handover of newly onboarded clients to the project and delivery teams, and maintain client relationships through the project lifecycle.
* Solicit and document client testimonials, case studies, and project references to support future business development efforts.
6\. Proposals, Presentations \& Marketing Collateral
* Lead the preparation of EOIs, RFP responses, capability presentations, proposals, and fee submissions in coordination with the design and leadership teams.
* Ensure all proposal and pitch material is of the highest quality — compelling, accurate, and tailored to the specific client and opportunity.
* Maintain and continuously update Adeelite's marketing assets including company profile, portfolio deck, project case studies, sector brochures, and credentials.
* Work with the team to build Adeelite's brand presence across digital channels — LinkedIn, website, project showcases — to support lead generation and brand positioning.
* Identify and coordinate award submissions, editorial features, and media opportunities to build Adeelite's reputation in target markets.
7\. Partnerships, Alliances \& Ecosystem Development
* Identify and establish strategic partnerships with complementary firms — real estate consultants, project managers, turnkey contractors, furniture and fit\-out vendors, and facility management companies — that can generate business referrals.
* Develop relationships with corporate real estate and facilities management professionals in large organisations who are potential repeat clients.
* Build Adeelite's presence in key industry associations, chambers of commerce, real estate forums, and design industry bodies.
* Explore and evaluate opportunities for formal tie\-ups, JV arrangements, or preferred vendor empanelments with real estate developers and large corporates.
8\. Reporting \& Business Development Operations
* Report directly to Mr. Ashish on BD activity, pipeline status, conversion metrics, market intelligence, and strategic opportunities on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Prepare structured BD reports, revenue forecasts, win\-loss analysis, and market mapping documents for leadership review.
* Define and track KPIs for business development performance — leads generated, meetings conducted, proposals submitted, conversion rate, revenue won, and pipeline value.
* Manage and optimise the BD budget for travel, events, marketing, and client entertainment within approved limits.
* Maintain confidentiality of business\-sensitive information including client data, commercial proposals, and strategic plans.
**Qualifications \& Requirements**
**Education**
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch), Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
* MBA in Marketing, Strategy, or Business Development is highly desirable.
* Any professional certification in sales, business development, or real estate will be an added advantage.
**Experience**
* Minimum 10 years of progressive business development experience, with a strong track record in the architecture, interior design, Design \& Build, or construction sector.
* Proven track record of independently winning projects and generating revenue across commercial, residential, and/or industrial project typologies.
* Experience in developing new market verticals or entering new client segments is strongly preferred.
* Prior experience working with or selling to HNI clients, luxury developers, corporate real estate, or industrial organisations will be a significant advantage.
* Established network within the real estate, corporate, hospitality, or industrial ecosystem in the target geographies.
**Technical \& Domain Knowledge**
* Strong understanding of the design and construction industry — project typologies, delivery models (Design Only, PMC, Design \& Build), and client procurement processes.
* Ability to read, understand, and discuss architectural and interior design concepts with clients, even without a design background.
* Familiarity with CRM tools, BD tracking systems, and pipeline management best practices.
* Proficiency in MS Office — especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for pipeline tracking and reporting.
* Comfort with LinkedIn and digital BD tools for lead generation and brand engagement.
