**Responsibilities**

* Design and implement **AKS\-based deployment strategies** using **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**.
* Automate **Azure services deployment** including **App Services**, **Azure Functions**, and **Azure Container Apps**.
* Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** using **GitHub Actions** and **GitHub Workflows** for **Java** and **.NET applications**.
* Manage **build and release processes**, ensuring robust **release management** and recovery strategies.
* Implement **GitOps workflows** using **Flux** or **ArgoCD** for AKS deployments.
* Ensure **secure and compliant deployments** through **DevSecOps principles** and **AppSecOps practices**.
* Configure **observability solutions** for monitoring and alerting across AKS and Azure services.
* Troubleshoot **AKS clusters**, deployment pipelines, and optimize performance.
* Collaborate with development teams to streamline application deployment and improve delivery speed.
* Support **ITSM processes** and ensure compliance with **SOC audit requirements**.
* Document deployment procedures and provide **training and enablement** for team members.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

* 2\+ years of experience in DevOps with a strong background in software development.
* **Strong hands\-on experience** with **Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)** and container orchestration.
* Expertise in **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **Terraform**.
* Proven experience deploying **Azure services** (App Services, Functions, Container Apps).
* Proficiency in **CI/CD tools**, **GitHub Actions**, and **GitHub Workflows**.
* Experience with **Java and .NET application build and deployment**.
* Strong knowledge of **release management** and handling release failures.
* Familiarity with **GitOps tools** such as **Flux** and **ArgoCD**.
* Understanding of **DevSecOps principles**, secure deployment practices, and compliance requirements.
* Experience configuring **observability and monitoring solutions** for cloud\-native environments.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues and optimize performance.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Proven track record of delivering **scalable, secure, and resilient AKS solutions**.
* **Preferred:** Azure certification (e.g., **Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert**).
* **Preferred:** Kubernetes certification (e.g., **CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator**).
