We are looking for an **Equipment All\-Rounder – Cricket Bats** with deep practical knowledge of bats and a strong connection to the local cricket ecosystem. This is an entry\-level opportunity (0–1 year experience) ideal for a passionate local cricketer who understands bats inside out and wants to begin their professional journey in cricket commerce.

This role can be a full\-time opportunity or an internship for someone who wants to turn their cricket passion into a career.

**The Challenge**

Build a strong, relevant, and trusted cricket bats category within CricHeroes Store — ensuring the right selection, quality standards, and player relevance.

You will contribute across product evaluation, grassroots insights, vendor coordination, pricing understanding, and category support — helping shape how cricketers discover and buy bats.

**What You’ll Do**

**Bat consultations with users**

* Speak to users who book bat consultations for English Willow bats in the app.
* Understand their cricket, playing style, requirements using our data and from their inputs.
* Suggest the right bat for them from our inventory based on all the points, while keeping in mind their budgets.
* Educate them on English Willow bats where required.
* Required information and training will be provided.

**Coordination with internal teams and vendors**

* Evaluate different types of cricket bats (English willow, Kashmir willow, grades, profiles, weights, balance points).
* Provide hands\-on feedback on bat pickup, performance feel, balance, and suitability for different player types.
* Assist in evaluating product quality, finishing, and consistency.
* Maintain strong communication with bat brands and local makers.
* Share feedback of bat consultation calls with internal teams for insights and improvements.

**Market \& Grassroots Insights**

* Gather feedback from local cricketers regarding bat preferences and buying behaviour.
* Track trends in pricing segments, preferred weights, and popular brands.
* Support pricing discussions with practical market understanding.

**Inventory \& Category Support**

* Assist in monitoring bat inventory levels and sell\-through performance.
* Help minimize dead stock by aligning assortment with player demand.
* Work closely with operations to ensure smooth stock and fulfillment processes.

**What We’re Looking For**

* 0–1 year of experience (freshers welcome).
* A local cricketer with strong hands\-on knowledge of cricket bats.
* Deep understanding of willow types, bat grades, profiles, weight distribution, and performance characteristics.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers in Hindi and English.
* Strong passion for cricket equipment, especially bats.
* Willingness to learn commercial aspects like pricing, margins, and inventory management.
* High ownership mindset and eagerness to grow in sports retail/category management.
* Strong observation skills and practical product evaluation ability.
