SEO Associate
About this role
We are looking for a detail\-oriented and enthusiastic **SEO Associate** to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of search engine optimization practices and be eager to learn and grow in a fast\-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct keyword research to identify relevant opportunities for organic growth
* Implement **On\-Page SEO** strategies including meta tags, headings, URL structure, and internal linking
* Execute **Off\-Page SEO** activities such as link building, outreach, and directory submissions
* Assist in **Technical SEO** audits including website speed optimization, crawlability, indexing, and mobile responsiveness
* Work on optimizing website content for better search engine rankings and user experience
* Manage and update website content using **WordPress**
* Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.)
* Track, analyze, and report SEO performance metrics
* Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices
**Required Skills \& Qualifications**
* Basic understanding of **On\-Page, Off\-Page, and Technical SEO**
* Working knowledge of **WordPress CMS**
* Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
* Understanding of keyword research and content optimization
* Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS (preferred but not mandatory)
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing
* Experience working on live projects or internships in SEO
* Knowledge of website performance tools like PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix
