SEO Executive Intern

**About the Role**

We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented SEO Executive Intern to join our growing digital marketing team. This is a hands\-on internship designed for aspiring SEO professionals who want to build real\-world experience working on live client websites across multiple industries. You will work directly with senior SEO strategists, gain exposure to industry\-standard tools, and contribute to meaningful organic growth campaigns from day one.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist in on\-page SEO optimizations — meta titles, descriptions, heading tags, and content structuring.
* Support keyword research and mapping for client websites using tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
* Conduct basic technical SEO audits — crawl errors, indexing issues, site speed checks, and robots.txt reviews.
* Help create and maintain SEO\-optimized blog briefs and content outlines for writers.
* Monitor and report weekly/monthly organic traffic performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
* Assist with local SEO tasks including Google Business Profile management and citation building.
* Support link\-building activities such as competitor backlink research and outreach list preparation.
* Collaborate with the content and web teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently applied.
* Document work, track keyword rankings, and maintain organized reporting sheets.

**Requirements**

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of how search engines work and fundamental SEO concepts.
* Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
* Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
* A self\-starter attitude — comfortable working independently with minimal hand\-holding.

**System Requirement**

**Candidates must have their own personal PC or laptop.** A stable internet connection is also required, as most tools and tasks are browser\- or cloud\-based. Applications without personal device access will not be considered.
