Social Media Intern
About this role
We are hiring energetic and trend\-savvy Social Media Interns to drive brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation across Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube for Tierce India and its clients.
The ideal candidate is a content\-native individual who understands platform algorithms, creates scroll\-stopping short\-form video, and can translate analytics into actionable growth strategies.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Script, film, edit, and publish short\-form videos ( Reels, YouTube Shorts) using CapCut or Premiere Rush.
* Design high\-engagement carousels, thumbnails, and story assets using Canva or Figma.
* Draft platform\-specific copy: professional for LinkedIn, witty for X, community\-driven for Instagram.
* Manage content calendars using Loomly, Buffer, or Hootsuite; schedule posts for optimal engagement windows.
* Monitor trends using TikTok Creative Center and AnswerThePublic; execute brand\-safe trend\-jacking.
* Actively manage comments, DMs, and community engagement to build loyal audiences.
* Track and report on KPIs: Engagement Rate, Watch Time, Shares/Saves, DM Inquiries, and Conversion Tracking.
* Use AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude for scriptwriting, ElevenLabs for voiceovers, Midjourney for visuals) to maintain high production velocity.
* Conduct competitor audits and maintain an inspiration/swipe file.
* Build monthly performance decks proving social media ROI to management.
**REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS**
* **Short\-Form Video Production:** Scripting, filming, editing, and captioning Instagram Reels, and Shorts.
* **CapCut / Premiere Rush:** Proficient mobile and desktop video editing with clean transitions and typography.
* **Canva / Figma:** Creating saveable carousels, thumbnails, and branded visual assets.
* **Platform Algorithm Fluency:** Understanding why content performs differently on TikTok vs. LinkedIn vs. Instagram.
* **Copywriting:** Writing in multiple brand voices across professional and casual platforms.
* **Analytics \& Reporting:** Interpreting Engagement Rate, Watch Time, and Conversion metrics beyond vanity likes.
**PREFERRED SKILLS (THE 2026 EDGE)**
* **AI Content Tools:** Using ChatGPT/Claude for scripts, ElevenLabs for voiceovers, Midjourney for visuals.
* **Social Listening:** Using AnswerThePublic and TikTok Creative Center for trend discovery.
* **SEO for Social:** Keyword usage in captions, alt\-text, and hashtag strategy for discoverability.
* **Basic Photography:** Understanding lighting, Rule of Thirds, and BTS content creation.

**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related field.
* Self\-taught social media practitioners with a proven track record are equally welcome.
